It turns outward or inward

Rage does not go away

It creates hung-faced horrors of us all

Rage does not go away

It roots itself in booze, drugs and addictions

Rage does not go away

These are our and your afflictions

Rage does not go away

You just frame us differently

Rage does not go away

You count costs not carnage

Rage does not go away

You look the other way

Rage does not go away

You imprison our bodies

Rage does not go away

You create our fate

Rage does not go away

Mate, you’re too late

 

So God created man in his own image

Be fruitful, and multiply and fill the earth.

I should use this barometer for rage at work. I like the rhyming scheme and how the closing line sets us on a philosophical street.
