Rage does not go away
It turns outward or inward
Rage does not go away
It creates hung-faced horrors of us all
Rage does not go away
It roots itself in booze, drugs and addictions
Rage does not go away
These are our and your afflictions
Rage does not go away
You just frame us differently
Rage does not go away
You count costs not carnage
Rage does not go away
You look the other way
Rage does not go away
You imprison our bodies
Rage does not go away
You create our fate
Rage does not go away
Mate, you’re too late
So God created man in his own image
Be fruitful, and multiply and fill the earth.

Rage
Rage doesn't go away but if we fight it we can put it in its place.

intriguing
An intriguing poem from a fondly familiar poet. I like how you explore social issues- without losing focus on the aesthetics of the poem.

Rage!
Rage! That guy has more faces than Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I wouldn't want to run into him in an alley, lol. Thanks for the many descriptions. Now that I know what to look for. Rage...

I should use this barometer
I should use this barometer for rage at work. I like the rhyming scheme and how the closing line sets us on a philosophical street.
