Desecration of Constitution,

Separation of powers,

shut ‘em down!

Shutting down all those government offices which were there to help the people, veterans, disabilities, immigrants, medicare!

Even the recipients of US Aid abroad were all denied assistance as the whole organization/department was shut down!

 

Desperation across the nation,

ripples spreading across the Gulf of Mexico,

down the continent, and up to Canada.

America’s greatest ally has got its back up, prickled by Trumpenstein’s lack of diplomacy.

America’s greatest allies are taking its’ exports off the shelves completely

If the Americans aren’t going to sort him out themselves,

erstwhile foreign allies are going to have to sort him out themselves.

Here we have more of Alfred's attempts to chronicle Trumpenstein and his gang's ruthless acts against the American State, at least as it previously existed. Alfred is finding it very difficult to keep up with the amount of change, and he's already at least two months behind, but at least there will be some kind of record for posterity on some surviving independent media!

Interesting reading this on the day a court in Manhattan has ruled that Trumpenstein's global tariffs are unlawful. What will the tangerine man do now that he's being held to account by the institutions. Watch this space!

I do hope the courts do manage to restrain the Trump regime, but so far I don't think there are many instances of the regime actually obeying the courts' orders. Unfortunately they don't seem to believe the law should be respected. Who is there in America to hold him, and them, to full account, or to enforce the law?

Maybe the many voice criticising their behaviour, and restricting what they do will be enough to keep the regime on the relatively straight and narrow, but they  have the power and seem to be able to do what they want. It seems to me that Democracy and Constitution and Law are very much in the balance at the moment. Americans are used to their longwinded practices of politics in Congress and Senate, and law, so it may not wither too quickly, but it has come under greater attack from this regime than any, for a long time. A lot depends on the individual decisions of millions of people, whether they stand up and oppose, or whether they keep their heads in the sands and let the regime do everything it wants.

The tangerine man may be called to behave more legally by supporters, backers, and powerful interests, or they may just carry on doing what they want with impunity. Or he might pursue a mixture of compromise and ignoring, continually testing what he or they can get away with. I have never seen a democratic government be subverted by politicians so intent on ignoring the wishes and interests of the population so blatantly.
