These are the lines
between which you read
to create a different story
of my life:
my life story -
a sixty-four story building
with no foundations
built on sand
that's running out
beween cracks that are
just crooked lines,
like these.

Yep, those sands start to shift as the building ages. I'm doing a bit of remedial work on the foundations of mine at the moment. Like all DIY, it's more complicated than you think it's going to be. Thanks for this. It's a great metaphor.
