Is this the old house in Plovdiv that you're flying over or the new one in Krichim?

Nobody wants to buy my Plovdiv cottage sad.  I've got it on the market at the same asking price as I sold it for 18 months ago (the buyer eventually pulled out),  but there's been no interest at all.  It's only very tiny which means it would appeal to first time buyers I think, which means they would need a mortgage.  And ever since Dneld decided to kick his football through the world's window the mortgage rates have shot up and nobody knows where they'll stop (like petrol). Luckily the people in The Tortoise House in Krichim, which I want to buy, are keeping it off the market, even though Tank the Tortoise has woken up.  I need to go round and slip a few mogodon into his lettuce.

If you were to knock a big chunk off the asking price to make your house irresistible (which I’m sure it is anyway), with the money you’d get you’d probably still have enough to buy a whole street in our Krichim, where tortoises run wild.

‘Moga li da vzema nazaem chasha zakhar?’ is a phrase that’ll help you get to know your new neighbours. It means ‘Can I borrow a cup of sugar?’ And if you were to introduce them to the concept of the meat raffle they’d absolutely love you.
