Gulping Down a Titan Nightmare Jam

Over the past few days our attention has been turned under sea as we became absorbed by the fate of the men on board the missing Titan who had gotten themselves into a terrible jam.. What must they be going through? I started researching deep sea life I learned about a few of the mysterious and rarely seen creatures of the darkness including the one of its kind gulper eel which is unique from all other species above or beneath the surface of the earth.
Because of the nature of their jaw, they can swallow prey much larger than themselves. If men had that capability we would be able to swallow an elephant.
Try not to think of that visual for a moment now that I've presented it.
With all of this happening in my mind alongside the ongoing frustration and tantalization of every day waking, I somehow fell asleep.
I found myself swimming through the dark depths of the ocean surrounded by strange and unfamiliar creatures. Each creature had a story to tell, a tale of survival, mystery, and the unexplored wonders of the ocean. As I swam alongside them, their vibrant displays communicated emotions and experiences beyond words. I witnessed the symbiotic dance between a flashlight fish and its bioluminescent bacteria, as they communicated through pulses of light. The patterns on a deep-sea squid revealed its intricate courtship rituals, attracting potential mates with its radiant displays. A colony of glowing jellyfish formed an ethereal orchestra, their light patterns synchronized to create a symphony of luminescence.
Then the vibe changed with the approach of a deadly presence. I felt alienated and started to panic. I saw a snake like body of three feet in length. As I swam closer I could tell by its small eyes, long tail and huge hinged mouth that I was encountering a gulper eel, the apex predator in this particular hood. The gulper was even larger than I had imagined. Three feet looks much larger when you're looking through the eyes of prey. The gulper's mouth was wide open. I knew if I got too close, it would eat me. I tried to swim away but the gulper was faster. It lunged at me and its sharp teeth closed around my arm. I screamed in pain as the gulper pulled me into its large mouth. I could feel its stomach acids starting to burn a whole in my flesh. Gulper eels are opportunistic ambush predators. Their diet mainly consists of crustaceans, small fish, and other invertebrates. They use their expandable jaws to create a vacuum-like suction to draw in prey. Their stomachs are highly elastic, enabling them to swallow prey much larger than their own body size. I would fit no problem.
But then.....
The gulper started to convulse and its eyes rolled back into its head. Judging from the rapidity of its eye movement, it became clear that the eel was having a dream and using me to help it lucidate the dream. It was trying to wake itself up and I was the key. I focused all my energy on helping the gulper wake up and get us oudda this scene.
The gulper's eyes popped open and it released me. I swam away as fast as I could and the gulper eeled away into the distance. I woke up on my bed feeling amazed and relieved. I had escaped from the gulper's dream. I was safe.
I thought about the gulper eel. I wondered what it was doing now. Was it dreaming of me again and was my awakening its way of prying me away from the dangerous depths of the dream that I was having that it was having? As light filled my room I imagined the eel seeing the sun for the first time and lighting up in contagious response using his photophoric bioluminescent organs; the light-producing cells that are located along the length of its body which attract prey, communicate witho other eels and provide camouflage for whatever is going down. The photophores had done their job first attracting me and then communicating with me and now whatever this was.
Then the gulper eel fell back asleep and dreamed that it was writing this story and transmitting it bioluminescently to the millions of other dreamers haunted by the disappearance and subsequent implosion of the Titan and making it possible to capture these words that stay.
Today, I made a remarkable discovery. I stumbled upon a series of intricate bioluminescent patterns that adorned the skin of various deep-sea creatures. Driven by curiosity, I set out to decode these luminous enigmas. They were/are indeed tales of the deep, stories that echoed through the vast expanse of the ocean, shared among its inhabitants. Through meticulous observation and analysis, I uncovered a revelation that would forever change our understanding of the gulper eel and its brethren. These bioluminescent patterns were not just random displays of light; they were a form of communication.
I deciphered the messages concealed within the eel's radiant patterns. I realized that the gulper eel's dream had transcended its own existence, reaching out to the dreamers everywhere who dared to dive into its world.
I will document and share these mesmerizing tales, and collaborate with scientists, artists, and storytellers from around the globe as they become clearer to me.Through the luminous words that radiated from the eel's dream, many of us landlubbers discovered a newfound connection with the devasated Titan and its crew. We kept our eyes peeled to our tubes until eventually we fell asleep.
And once again began to dream.

A constructive take on the
A constructive take on the Titan tragedy. There's a whole lot of beautiful life beneath the waves. You could be forgiven for thinking that we are trespassing by being there. But then we'd never learn about the marvels you mention...

A fun way to rouse interest
A fun way to rouse interest in these intersting creatures. There's a sentence in the third to last para more or less repeated in the next to last. (They were/are indeed tales of the deep, stories that echoed through the vast expanse of the ocean, shared among its inhabitants.)
