A Reactionary Puss

Do you ever ask yourself why
your cat gives you the evil eye?
It is because if you think he's ill
you try to make him ingest a pill
that's good for him but no doubt
it's one he will promptly spit out.

Ha. Or some cats are just
Ha. Or some cats are just incredibly poorly mannered all round. I have pandered to mine (The Bear) to such an extent that he regularly gives me a 'you've betrayed me' look if I haven't done what he expects when he expects it. Cat milk not down at 9pm precisely, didn't open the door for me even though I have a cat flap immediately, didn't place 6 Dreamies on my throw at 10.30pm and so on = look of betrayal. Having typed this comment I am aware more fully that I have created a monster. Anyway, I love cat business, your little poem made me smile. And I suppose few of us are keen on bitter pills. Rachel x

This reminded me of a ginger
This reminded me of a ginger tom cat I once had. He was so clever, even if I mashed a pill into his favourite food of a tin of tuna, he's still for some reason know it was in there. Cats are sometimes too clever for their own good.
Nice on Luigi.
Jenny. xx

You must see it
You must see it to believe it. And I don't usually plan that far ahead especially in lockdown. Thanks for reminding me!

The weekend has passed already
The weekend has passed already Luigi the next one is after this week. Apparently many of us lose track of the days during lockdown because all the days are all the sane. The ingeneous methods people have to avoid swallowing there pills are amazing. As for dogs you have to be cunning, hide the pill in a little ball of mince meet usually does the trick. As for a cat, dissolve it in a saucer milk may be?
Sorry it wasn't clear. Hope that helps! Tom
