The Vagaries of English Weather

The temperature in England
is not quite tropical
but the locals are resilient
and remain philosophical.
They are used to the vagaries
of weather conditions
and face the challenge
with tough dispositions.
Thry know they must endure
the intemperate clime
whether it is winter, spring,
or summertime.
They show their appreciation
when the weather is fine
and warmly welcome
a bout of sunshine.
Somtimes the mercury
will unexpectly rise
and many are unprepared
for the sudden surprise.
Whenever this happens
the answer is to strip,
dive into a a cool river
for a refreshing dip.

Nice IP response Luigi,
Nice IP response Luigi, though nowadays it seems as if a dip in a river mightn't be quite so refreshing as it used to be before water companies were privatised!
