poem stream of consciousness.. daft really

Pick up the clues and run. Show the world you've begun.
Give a little time for the rain to fall, for the grief to stall.
.
Sometimes I wish I could believe, in more than the ordinary relief,
It's hard to be steadfast, when the Demon's rise and the moon casts
a silver light of shiny steel, in a sky that none too real.
and you are up there, where the ammonites spin in pairs.
It's the knowledge that we share, this extrodinary flair -
for justice to take hold, for mercy none too cold.

and you blurr my every view, in a sky of dusky blue
over a planet in an ocean, where the sea has stars, a notion...
.
of God, the creator race, the place we desire in space,
two souls who were one, and will if will is done.
.
and start again. start again. Only I want not to start again
I want to; and I don't want too, a blue butterfly -
.
rare, as all the places he will not let me see - the world he goes too is unknown to me.
All as rare as life, this technology, the sea grapes, alien biology?
He says he needs me back, a navagator, he unfolds the star plans, unshy waiter,
I point out I cannot see too well, I plead igonorance, of maths my private hell.

He laughs. Raises my hand in his. "Know me well," he says, "You had your wish!
You played out your part, learnt how to write poetry, broken, and complete."
I nodd. The mission is over then. How many to go home? How many came?
This world is full of those who fell, I hold his hand firmly, the edges of a shell,
.
"I'm ready now, my Jelly fish man", the drifter wood, the roman statue face,
the kindness of our race and soon we flow together accoss the underverse.
To the ammonites slow whirl, the space ballet of the age.
Our thoughts to spin together, in slow and ancient ways.

Loved this maisie, some of
Loved this maisie, some of the best work is written in train of thought. You've written a piece that could be the lyrics to a song. I found it imaginitive and dream like and enjoyed reading. Jenny.
