November Night

Cycling along in the heart of the 'Deen,
returning back home from Books and Beans,
Through the main street, the wind a'blowing,
my thoughts are full of poetry unfolding.

Hoping to get some poems together,
some about life and some about weather,
to be published in a wee booklet form,
once they are edited, as is my norm.

These thoughts I bring you this November night,
one that's neither too cold nor too bright,
We'll see if this project bears me some fruit,
I've done it before, so again I can do it.
