An Expression Of Celtic Dreaming
By Paul McCann
Within our subconsious mind there are these escape hatches on the mystical pathway , That is where we float away , drifting through the clouds to places
where inspirational thinking can find us opening new spaces of lyrical expression .
This is when we are able to create deeper interests with poetry . These poetic hooks are then placed in saddle bags that are carried by dragonflies to the musical section of that inner cosmos . Most Celtic dreamers like to chase away the sun and become night owls at the end of the day . Thoughts become songs and music is returned from the inner cosmos far beyond the paper sky . For the few who can escape from the cocoon new songs come out like butterflies on their way to heaven .
Celtic Dreaming is welcome in the world we live usually because songs are either feared or not appreciated because they are created in another place and time where when nothing really matters anymore .
So how can we keep dreaming about writing when dragonflies are left like orphans in a paper sky ?
For those who still search for that escape hatch they will find new expressions and music will find a way to be heard . There are mystical dragonflies in universe and it will take more than disappointment . more than anger , more than greed , more than
oppression to stop a song from being heard .
All it takes it love and kindness to keep us together in a world where no one has ever been before . Thew writers of poetry and makers of songs are todays Celtic dreamers and more than ever they will create and narrate and make the mystical world a part of the material world forever .
In a future existence there are already songs and music that have been placed inside cocoons waiting for that moment to take flight . There are saddlebags hung up on hooks , suspended there in time waiting to be found .
Celtic dreamers are still living out their dreams as I speak and as they watch reality pass by they are focused on the mystic and they are drawn to places in another place and time where nothing really matters anymore .
I believe in Celtic dreaming and I have met many more like myself who will continue to dream and find a way to drift away .
The End

Hi Paul,
Hi Paul,
I love your suggestion that the expression of Celtic dreaming is like: thoughts becoming songs and music returning from the inner cosmos far beyond the paper sky.
Also loved the idea of songs escaping cocoons like butterflies, that is so poetic and a wonderful metaphor.
If only I could read music, play an instrument and be able to sing, I would love to be a Celtic dreamer. There's so much that inspires me in this piece of writing Paul. But I do love poetry, so I suppose I am thankful for that.
Appreciate you sharing on abc tales.
Jenny.
