Like A Flower

I could dance in the rain down memory lane

and watch the time pass by

with no thought of you or I ,

to be in harmony unil the day that I die.

To be like  a flower in the world where we are ,

with perfume rising up in the air

and colour to show, the world that we know ,

the beauty I want to share .

Like a flower, in love , with the sun up above ,

watching the seasons as they come and go .

To be here on the earth, with no value or worth ,

a wild flower wanting to grow .

Beautifully wild , I’d be ,  wild and beautiful ,

there in the forest naturally  .

The first flower that grew in a time no one knew ,

there at  Eden’s garden gate ,

with  a poisonous thorn, to protect it from harm

and the greedy hands of envy and hate .

Like a flower, in love , with the sun up above ,

a wild flower wanting to grow .

Beautifully wild , I’d be ,  wild and beautiful ,

in the forest growing naturally, wild and beautiful ,

so beautifully wild , as wild as wild could be  .
