Inside The Tree

Inside The Tree

By Paul McCann

There’s a place I’ve heard tell

where the fairy folk dwell

in a tree someplace around there .

Ask me no questions

I’ll tell you no lies

so listen to me

go up  to Eire Square .

There’s a doorman there from Galway , who can show you where and he’ll let  you in for free .

Just tell him I sent you

and you be welcome

there to go in and sit in the tree .

If you’re having a drink

have one for me

and if you’re singing

let your voice be heard .

There’s no better place

than inside the tree

where magic moments

of the  night are shared .

.
