Magnificent Milly And Her Magic Tricycle

Chapter Eight

The Old Man in the House On The Hill

 

Milly awoke with the same feeling of being alone in this big world / It was never an easy way to start the day but as soon as the magic pebbles started doing their thing her mind was lifted to a better place . As she lay there listening to the gentle ambience of musical sounds from the cosmos all her negativity dispersed . She felt a  healing from her head to her feet and it recharged her to start another day .

In her contemplative life Milly found a positive energy that propelled her from loneliness to fulfillness that made everything right .In helping others she helped herself and in doing good she was complete .

After she did her yoga and had some food the talking pebbles called out to her .

“Come now and listen to what we have to tell you “

Milly went over and sat beside the jar . The pebbles started to glow and suddenly a light shone out from the jar and surrounded Milly who went into a semi- conscious state  . She felt an energy around her that made her skin tingle . When she awoke, she sat up slowly and whispered.

“What the heck was all that about ?”

The pebbles replied .  

“You have received a new gift of healing and it’s time for you to be leaving . You have someone waiting for you . An old man who has been lying on a floor for days now ,calling for help and no one has come . Go now and raise the fallen , heal those who have been hurt and are broken . Milly you gifts can help others live a better life and you have been called to change this world ./ Today is the day for your new gift to be shared . Your tricycle is ready to go and what are you waiting for ?”

Milly went outside and got into the tricycle .and made her way out the path to a place where the sun shone down all around her and she was lifted up into a the top of a rainbow that propelled her through sky tunnels to the front of a big house on a hill that stood all alone , There were no other houses nearby, As she got off the tricycle she made her way to the front door and called out ,

‘”Hello, is anyone there ?”

 

No one answered and she went around the house calling out and checking of there was any way to get inside . A door seemed to open of its own accord and Milly went inside ; there she saw a chair with a folded-up newspaper that no one had read . Then she saw a meal on a table that no one had eaten . She took a deep breath and called out again ,

“Hello, is anyone there ?”

Then she heard a soft groaning from upstairs and quickly made her way there .

She climbed two stairs a t a time until the landing where she saw an old man lying there motionless on the floor outside a bathroom .

She went over to him slowly and touched his head suddenly he  began to giggle and laugh .

“Are you ok sir ?”

Milly asked .

The old man responded but every few words he started laughing and giggling .

‘“Well actually I’ve been lying here on the floor for days calling for help ,  Ha ha ha and no one came , he he , oh what pain I have been in ...,”

“Can you try and stand >”

Milly asked .

The old man burst out laughing and said ,

‘”I don’t think so ha ha ha because my legs broken ?”

Milly saw a white light around her hands , glowing and pulsating ,

She put her hands on the old man’s head . He closed his eyes and went unconscious .He lay there for about ten minutes before he moved .

Hew slowly got to his feet and had no recollection of what had happened . He looked at Milly and said ,

“Hello , do I know you . How did you get inside my home ?”

Milly replied .

:”I heard you lived alone and might need some help . A door was open and I just came in and there you were or I mean here you are >

“So, what kind of help can you offer because as you can see, I’m healthy and fit “

‘‘Well, I can see that sir but let me show you something :”

She took his hand and suddenly he started to laugh and giggle and he couldn’t stop no matter how hard he tried . Tears were rolling  down his face and he couldn’t  contribute a word at all as Milly walked out the front door . She got back on her tricycle and disappeared through a gap that opened in another place and time  Where she was back again at the front door of the same house .

She heard someone calling out for help and quickly went inside ,

Once again, she climbed up the stairs and there she saw an old man lying there and all around him were broken bits of delph and glass and some cutlery .’A tray was lying upside down on a newspaper that was dated in a future time . She looked at the old man and recognised him as the man she had helped not long before however he had aged a lot since the last time she saw him .

He couldn’t move and looking at Milly he smiled and said ,

“I need your help now .“

Milly placed her hands on his head and a white light shone from them .

The old man went unconscious and when he resumed consciousness, he looked so peaceful .

 Milly said ,

“Are you ok now?”

He replied .

‘Now I remember you . A long time ago you came here and made me laugh .“

Then he sat up slowly and Milly said ,

“Yes, I did , so tell me sir , are you ok . You had a bad fall “

He replied ,

“The last thing I remember seeing was the tray in my hand falling to the floor and everything on the tray crashing in front of my eyes .I thought I was finished but here you are again to my rescue , Are you an angel ?”

Milly said ,

‘I’m someone who helps people . The last time I was here you said to me I couldn’t help you . Do you remember that ““

‘He replied .

“I do and you know I had never laughed as much in my life before and since that day I had been inspired to find something nobody even knew existed ?”
.”What’s that ?
Milly asked and he replied .

:Well, it’s difficult to explain but I saw this  was blinding light and, in that light, I saw how to solve a problem for people with diabetes . It was almost like I was watching a movie . When I told a few friends of mine what I saw we all went to work in a laboratory and we discovered a cure to be sure and now they call it insulin . Isn’t that a story , let me tell you many people have claimed that them who discovered it . Well, they can say all they like but I know it was me and that’s the end of the story .So I too like you had been given a gift to help many people and most of those people I will never know nut that matters not . All that matters is that they can live a better life .
Milly reached out to help him to stand and as soon as she did, he started giggling and when he got to his feet he was buckled over in laughter ,

Milly said ,

‘“I have to go now :. Are you sure you ok >

The old man couldn’t speak a word . All he could was wave his arms expressing for her to go away . As Milly left, she looked back at him in stitches laughing ,

She smiled  and returned to her tricycle .

A rainbow appeared in the sky and fell to the ground and Milly made her way to that place was transported back to her little home on the mountain top .
