My friend was an Arab before the wall went up .
He’s still an Arab but we don’t see each other at all .

Borders and boundaries surround us .
We have our armies that protect us from insurgents and missiles that fall .

In Israel they’ve built a wall between the Jews and the Arabs ,
And on different sides the kids can play ball .

One day they took buckets of paint

and they painted a scene of what it could have looked like

 if there was no wall .

Expressions splashed around the boundaries of Jerusalem .
Aren’t we all one tribe of Abraham after all .
