The Power Of Prayer

A mouse was in the kitchen, the cat had just come in .
The mouse took off a flying ,all I could do was grin .

It jumped up to the cooker and landed in the pan

As a knock came to the door ,

it was what’s his name  man  .
He spied the mouse and started screaming  ,
"Mice I  can't stand "
He ran from the front door ]

with the post still in his hand.

I set a trap for the mouse , in the hope I could fetch,
but no after weeks of trying I just couldn’t catch  !

So I left a note that said "Please get it out of the house  .

But it looked as if I had an illiterate mouse .
From room to room with a broom
I swept the floorboards there .
chasing after the mouse that was too hard to capture .

I must admit  , it nearly  got the better of me ,
until I got down one night upon my bended knee ,
I said a prayer ,
"God help me to get rid of this mouse"
The next morning that mouse calmly walked
out of the house .
