There and then when love will take us there

To a place beyond that golden stair .

Where the door to eternity waits

at the entrance of the pearly gates .

Nobody knows if ever we will

Stand there together where time stands still

to enjoy the company of God

forever where the angels have trod .

Where mansions have been built in the sky ,

for people to live like you and I

and on the streets of grace we will find

heaven there to be a state or mind .

Forever young we'll never grow old

living there on the streets of the soul ,

Nobody knows if ever we will meet

in an eternity we will speak .
