Day dawns unspoken mine to create

World unexplored through my garden gate

Poems unwritten just words in my head

Dance with anticipation trembling to be said

Eyes alive with morning sunlight

Dreams remain a waking insight

Chasing fireflies speaking rhyme

Racing the wind in particles of time

Space and Darkness, Stars and light

This day’s end, nowhere in sight

Wonderful poem penny. I could relate to so much in your words. It's wonderful to be able to explore our imaginations and dreams...where would we be without them? I also like the rhyming in your poem, it sets it off nicely.
