Mind is fickle and mind is wicked indeed,
It is the naughtiest and the fastest in speed
Mind has memory as its servitor,
It has intellect as adviser
It stays with the body and soul till death do them part
It accompanies soul even after that
Desire agitates the mind
Anger makes it blind
Pride and envy are its companion
They turn villain to mind against liberation.
Mind stands on way to blocking peace and bliss
At times so wicked to leap from prayer to kiss.
It perhaps carries the feeling and emotion
Question arises whether Soul and mind have any connection
Psychologist and philosophers look at it with awe and wonder
To analyze how to control mind still do they ponder
To tame and subjugate mind, “Breath control” is a weapon.
So tell the sages with definite conclusion.
