A rainy night

Standing in the rain looking into your eyes, getting weak in the knees. Then you lean in and hug me and I feel safe and warm in your arms. Wishing I could stay there forever in your embrace. Knowing that I have to say good bye for what seems like an eternity but in all reality it's just for the night. I let go and hope you pull me in for another warm hug good night.
Hand in hand, heart to heart. Together we stand, never to part!
