Enzyme

An enzyme* is a complicated protein –
long chains of atoms in patterns twisted into shape
to help some other molecules unite, combine
when needed in the cell’s constant city-like activity.
But how were they created so exactly –
these synthesisers had need themselves of synthesis.
No way could chance achieve this.
A genius Designer only could conceive
and bring about these extremely intricate
chemical factories in each living cell.
They surprise and fascinate
as we see a little of how they constantly work
when needed and so well..
No way could muck and muddle arrange
with years of random trouble into such
precise and working living chemistry.
[*For instance in a single molecule of Glutamine Synthetase, there are tens of thousands of atoms, The exact number varies depending on which organism it is in. It is typically composed of 12 identical subunits arranged in two hexagonal rings which are stacked on top of each other. It has been likened to a molecular computer.].
The thumbnail illustration is just a composite of a few small oraganic molecules that I superimposed to give a ‘feel’ of the complexity.

amazing
It is amazing Rhiannon yes, and truly when you consider a molecule as a group of atoms uniquely put together together by chemical atomic (covalent) bonds.
You may do a bit of combinatorics perhaps just to get some rough idea, what incredible infinite complexity you have here, and all to do with the Carbon atom's properties and such as ability to form four covalent bonds and thus extremely intricate structures.
It is interesting when you write about these things, of Creation but from of your bio-organic chemistry viewpoint. There are many ways of looking at things, I mean in general, and it all boils down always to just theories, good perhaps, or poor, and of which from a purely scientific view point your own as traditional creation would be one.
Keep well! Nolan &

Fascinating—both the
Fascinating—both the complexity of enzymes and the awe you capture here. There’s something humbling about how intricately life is put together. The image adds to that sense of wonder too.
Beautifully explained.
