When to Run

The smell of me
is distant from fumes of
mistrust. And boot stomping
an attempt to
restrict good intentions.
During cautious times
I have the scent of fearfulness
and in flavourable times a
camouflage of caring.
My fragrance is trust---joy
with knowledge
administered by friendly
faces. In spite of the cajoling
and bullying from those
outside the magnet of life;
a scent of my being can never
be diminished.
