On "Revolution"

I often write about revolution, and voice strong criticism of mainstream America. I want to clarify that I have absolutely no intention of participating in any act of violence or destruction, or associating with those who do. This isn't because I'm a pacifist(though I am a registered "conscientious objector") but because I feel I can have far more impact as an intellectual than as a human bomb; And honestly, because I value my life and liberty, and am not a fanatic.
As far as my words against the U.S. constitution in the song "Subreal," I stand by them. I consider myself a citizen of the world. I actually don't have any particular dislike for the country I was born into, though my poems may seem to contradict this. The USA is a modern empire; But she helped defeat two other empires which were far worse than her: Nazi Germany and the U.S.S.R. No, I just believe I have a certain calling, a certain role to play on life's stage.
And I go to such extremes for two reasons: A.) I feel that modern capitalism has personally tortured and even physically poisoned me in the form of my arsenic poisoning B.) Since I'm already writing truths that put my life and liberty in danger, I may as well do it so eloquently and thoughrily that I attract allies.
Also, I feel that times are changing far faster than most people have any idea of. So many in America and the West have this democratic, bourgeious world-view that keeps them from seeing the path things are taking. Revolutionary times will be upon us shortly; Note that when I use the word "revolution," I'm talking about a radical change in political power, and in the principles that govern society.
The revolutionary ideas that I ascribe to do involve a drastic re-distribution of world wealth. That said, I'm no communist and am not even a proper socialist. I don't believe in democracy though I generally believe in more egalitarianism than is currently practiced on this planet; The peoples of Europe are not so superior to the peoples of Africa that the first should be so much wealthier than the second, especially when Africa's problems are largely attributable to colonialism.
But there will always be wealthy people and poor people; And Darwinian competition is the first principle of life and any ideology that would suppress it is nonsensical. So, when I talk about "revolution," I'm not encouraging hateful class war.
Rather, I'm encouraging a genuine end to racism, the victory of reason over religion, the right of the worker to enjoy the fruits of his labor, urgent action to end the rapid destruction of the world eco-system, and other things I believe good and necessary. I don't pretend to be any great wise man; But I've been blessed with certain insights and the ability to express them artistically. Thank Gaiia!!
