Seven Haiku’s for One
Awaking in the morning
Me, myself and I
No one here to say good-bye
What an awesome day!
Yet I feel so sad
My home is an empty pad
Time for tea, kettle goes on
Only one teabag
Kettle sings a lonely song
I flipped my first pancake
I wanted to share
But sadly, no one was there
My favourite song played
It was time to dance
Just me and an empty space
Putting on a DVD
Buttered popcorn
One person on the settee
Now it’s time to go to sleep
Holding Jesus close
Tears streaming down my cheeks

You protrayed it so simply
You protrayed it so simply the desire for sharing and company. But I did detect that latest word that seems to be being hijacked http://www.abctales.com/story/rhiannonw/awesome !! Rhiannon

Thanks, Shannon. As you'll see I've enjoyed reading the diary, and commented. My concern has been for the word being overused, and losing its wonder content. Rhiannon
