Carnal Comedy Blues

Last night I caught my wife

Lying under the man next door

They were naked and entwined

Like two trees

With bark stripped bare

My heart felt like

It had been cut with a butcher’s knife

I tried to work  out

Where things went wrong

What was the reason

For my tumbledown life

Then I remembered that two days ago

I was caught lying on top

Of my neighbours wife
