Evolution of Language

I have memory problems so I thinks it was a couple of weeks ago when I was at work driving a military grade vehilce to haul shipment, common thing for longshoremen, and I felt like the cinch needed to be checked. Traditionally, this is the job of the passenger. It's safer for the driver to stay in the driver's seat but I thought what the hell and unbuckled to get out and check the cinch and my colleague in the passenger's seat said "Bitch, who driving?" - his way of tellling me to stay in the driver's seat and let him get out.
Question: Men here call other men bitch frequently. It can be in aggression: Bitch, you need to fuck off outta my face! or it can be playfullly: Bitch, get your ass outta here! There can be a curious sentiment: what . . . c'mon, bitch, what you doing? However it's intended men call men bitch. Interesting evolution of language, yeah? A man calling another man a bitch. In all sitations:
Bitch, fuck off.
You crazy, bitch!
You wanna fuck with me, bitch?
Sit down, bitch.
Bitch, your sorry ass can't take care of this yourself?
Bitch, shut up.
Well, I guess you just gotta work overtime, bitch.
Bitch, get your ass in the truck.
In all tones and situations, one man to another: bitch.
Fuck with me, bitch, fuck with me and find out, bitch.
Here, bitch has become an all around christening, male, female, who cares? Is this elsewhere? It's randomly used in traffic even when the windows aren't tinted and the driver is obvisously male:
Man, bitch don't give a fuck. He drove through that light.
Recently, a friend who's been staying with me check-mated me in our month's-long chess game and I said Bitch, kiss my rabbit's ass.
At work, when tasks aren't finished: That's on you, bitch. Get your shit straight, bitch. Bitch, stop dragging your ass.
Just curious. Just asking for a friend, bitch.

we don't use bitch this side
we don't use bitch this side of the Atlantic unless it's got four legs and paws. Son of a bitch. Well, that's different.

I've never heard it here
I've never heard it here before Jack. In French, a roe deer is called a biche, but it's also something you'd say to a female friend if you were female too: 'ma biche'. I don't think men use it
Maybe in England people use mate in the same way as your bitch? That's unisex though.

Good to see you still writing
Good to see you still writing, TJ. As raw and provocative as I remember. I prefer the term 'bee-atch' myself.

I leaned the Dutch for bitch
A couple of years ago I was watching the first John Wick film on Amazon prime. As I live in Belgium sometimes films only have Dutch and French subtitles. As in this case. When John Wick was insulted and threatened in Russian by the son of a Russian mafia boss (I assumed), Wick replied in Russian with an insult which brought a swift response. I had no idea what he said but I can read Dutch and he called the guy a "teef" I had to look up what the word meant and of course it was "bitch" The word teef is used as a similar insult to women mostly.
I learned a new word in Dutch which I'll probably never use.
Pity about the little Beagle pup though.
