The Wandering Wind

By well-wisher

The wind is like a lonely child
that wanders, idly, through the wild
making its toys from all it finds
like leaves the Autumn’s left behind.

When the wind comes whistling your way,
hang out some cheerful chimes to play
and, when you hear a tinkling noise,
that is the wind laughing with joy.
