Rules of St Conval:
- This is a strategic type of board game for one player.
- First make the game board by simply drawing round a 2 pence piece and making a square of 20 2p piece sized circles (4 by 5) on a small sheet of paper (I used a sheet from a reporters notepad)
- Now mark the circles at the upper left hand corner and lower right hand corner with X’s, these are the start/finish circles.
- Now place two 2 pence pieces on these marked circles (One heads side up and one tails side up)
- The object of the game is to move these 2 pence pieces round the grid of circles until they are on each other’s starting circles.
- Each piece may be moved a maximum of 2 circles at a time in any direction.
- However the 2 pence pieces may never be placed on the same line either diagonally, horizontally or vertically.
