When we get up
in the morning
the sun is sure to shine
‘cause it knows I’m yours
and it knows you’re mine
we stroll along
slow as we please
we like holding hands
and sippin’ tea

we don't run 
no marathon races
we don't sweat 
no bicycle seats
we don't want 
to wake the toeses
on our big
'ol lazy feet

no, we don’t run
nor do we eat tofu
sirloin steak
is what we chew 
every Sunday morning
fresh out of bed
we hit the kitchen
and break some bread

let the world fly by
go on if you must
we'll be just fine
in each other 
we trust
we'll be just fine
in each other
we trust
