Arrogance
Arrogance is a very bad character trait. As you say, pride comes before the fall. In mathematics you get it a lot, people who believe they are in some terrific elite just because no-one understands them, funny because they mostly don't understand each other either. It is much better to be humble.
Should mention Rhiannon I find the second verse a bit confusing. And they appear to be the same but self-respect is something completely different from pride.
