Something Good

There will be times I’m sure you will find

when things don’t turn out the way you planned ,

just carry on and say to yourself ,

I’m going to do the best I can.

The goodness in me will keep me strong,

when things around me start going wrong .

I’ve seen something when I least expect,

something good will always come along

I know that disappointments will come

like a dark cloud blocking out the sun

but something good happens everyday

to make all the dark clouds go away .

See the sun shining on you and me

There’s a light that everyone can see

I feel something good is in the air

Love is all around us everywhere .

Trouble will try to tear me apart

but I’ve found hope that lives in my heart ,

I’ve got a motto, virtue will strive

under oppression I will survive .

Something good is what I’m speaking of

nothing is so powerful as love

it  makes everything in life ok

love is something good that’s what I say.
