A Place Called Shangaradee
By Paul McCann
By the shores of Shangaradee
basking whales swim through the sea
the moon has gone away
while the midnight sun shines all day .
Treasures wash up on the shore
that you’ve never seen before,
works of art and precious stones
and things that nobody owns
In the land of Shangaradee ,
there is lot’s of time to see
friendly faces everyday
who would hope that you would stay .
There’s songs and stories galore
that you’ve never heard before
from people living the dream
in places no one has seen .
On the isle of Shangaradee
it’s a magic place to be .
If you believe that its true .
special things happen to you .
Laughter from heaven is heard
with love in every word .
Everyone there is happy
In the place called Shangaradee .
.

Shangradee isn't that where
Shangradee isn't that where in our childhood we alwyays wanted to be. But then we got older and that land sank.
