Tempranillo Haze

Sun-soaked and forgotten—
they kiss beneath the awning’s shade.
The child next door plays, distilled
moonshine
spilled like lemonade.
Summer drools—
A Tempranillo haze bathes the street,
where lovers doze on porches—
blush-wine
pooling at their feet.
