Old Man Of Storr

Old Man Of Storr does not hide,
He carries the weight that shapes
This land, his silence gets carried
On zephyrs breezes with wisdom,
Rock cannot speak, but if it were
Able, would it be with sonnets of
What's seen? Maybe even causing
Earth to quake like a banshee with
Shrill scream? No!
His myth would be documented In
Whispers across appearance of this
Barren loved high ground, looming
Unhurried in Stillness and settling
Travellers thoughts at journey's end.

Old Man of Storr is a rock
formation on the Isle Of Sky
in Scotland known for breath
taking views and rich folklore
suggesting it's the thumb of a
giant who was buried in the
area. It looks out over the fairy
Pools and Dunvegan Castle.

Old Scotsmen
I've never met the Old Man of Storr (your description of him suggests he's quite a character) but I have met the Old Man of Hoy who seems like a similar sort of old man. They must get together to discuss which Scottish island they're going to live on.
