Tossing, restless,
pain, distress,
delirious distortions
in mental confusions,
thoughts riot
feverish;

suddenly sweating
getting cooler,
calmer
slowly mind clearing of
fantastical drama:
peaceful release, quiet.

… like a boat tossed 
by stormy riot 
of battering wind and waves,
blown into harbour
in the lee of the wall
that protects and saves:

stillness, calm, quiet.

Great IP response :0) My son gets fevers a lot, but usually he is very still with them and it is me who is rioting about worrying what to do :0)
