Glinting Diamonds Everywhere!

Hoar frost glitters
spiky crystal
ice needles sparkle:
fringes on leaf edges,
highlights in hedges,
cobweb, diamond-laden,
across the window lies,
trees coated white:
decorations of
crisp freezing air
and winter sunlight;
chapped cheeks
bright eyes.

You've captured my childhood
You've captured my childhood with this poem Rhiannon. so many memories of icy cold days and mum scraping the ice off the inside of the window. Also having to go to the outside toilet first thing in the morning...brrr! Makes me shiver just thinking about it.
But I love the images in your poem that fit the photos perfectly.
Jenny.

Sharp description
... formed in little slices to underpin sensation in cut of sudden winter.
Delightful.

I echo a previous comment.
I echo a previous comment. My childhood saw the wonder of winter. At the top of your game as usual. Loved it.
