The Little Lillie’s Of Helensburgh

In the presence of lilies

where milkwood balls have fallen ,

the gentle sounds of whip birds

among the trees are calling .

It’s a long way from the Olga’s

and even further still

to where mystic blueberries

 fell down on that distant hill

Thank you for thie welcome comment Makis , I emigerated  to Australia 54 years ago so I guess I've spent a little bit of time here .  It is a different place to most and takes a while to get used to . Big bkue sky and lots of sunshine , hot Christmas days and plenty of open spaces ,
