ABC Tales Rocks
I was fortunate enough to discover this wonderful writer’s enclave several years back. Dutifully, I posted various articles and received positive feedback from its founder Tony Cook and many other helpful readers. It made me a better writer, to listen to those similarly afflicted with the writing urge/curse. It was also fun to read the many selections, from a diverse group of people, who had the same itch that I did.
The many contributors, who post on ABC Tales, also read and offered comments on the pieces posted by the newer writers, giving them encouragement and inspiration. It was a home to which writers of all genres could come and receive acceptance and encouragement, something all of us need in this lonely craft.
Too many names of the helpful come to mind. All of them generous of spirit and encouraging to the newer writers, all of whom need nurturing and encouragement. Some of their initial attempts, like some of ours, were rough and in need of polishing. Help from more experienced writers made them better at expressing their feelings in written form.
So, rock on ABC! Your contributions to the writing craft are huge. What you provide on this site is a seed bed where literary epics can evolve and grow into delightful tales that express the full range of the human experience. From little seeds grow enormous trees that give shade and pleasure to everyone. Keep on keeping on ABC. May the roads rise up to meet you and the winds be always at your back.

well, JX, I've been hear since Tony Cook's days too. I guess the circuit of writing isn't finished until somebody reads what we'ev written. It's egotistical, but not poisonous and perhaps even beneficial. Who knows what will grow - as you say.
