Teeth Tales: Brian's Mayans

A young guy called Brian was obsessed with
the Mayan and the way they chiseled their
teeth, into shapes so grizzled that the ladies
sizzled and fell into apoplexy in the belief
that whittled teeth were so sexy that it was
impossible for them to avoid feeling skittled
They were Tzotzil Mayans, and great survivors
who in Scrabble circles would be twenty-fivers
and they not only carved, but drilled them too,
filling the holes with blue diamonds and jade
which made them parade the town feeling not
just dashing but rich, coy and rather smashing
So Brian, now desperate to find a mate, raided
the exchequer and bought a Black & Decker to
shape his teeth into shining examples of Mayan
belief, honed and polished with vigorous zing
into lady killers adorned with bling so beguiling
that they now wowed the world of ceramic tiling
Such was the tumult on social media that they
wrote him a page on Wikipedia and he became a
cult on the world wide web, enabling each of his
Mayans to become celebs and known as Brians,
now sponsored heavily by Black&Decker he had
the pick of the regulars down at the Mecca
But week-end encounters at noisy dances often
lead to grief, as the evening wears on, the joy
is brief, as it soon it becomes clear that behind
the leer and the shiny Mayans is Brian, desperate
delusional and socially cold, proving the proverb
that fillings that glitter do not ensure gold
