Christmas Is Coming

A Poem For The Young At Heart
Just a bit of fun to welcome the
Season.
Whilst up on the hillside ridge of snow,
Could clearly see my house down below;
It was chilly on this Christmas Eve night,
With stars that were twinkling so bright.
Then I saw him and it happened so fast,
Like a childhood memory from the past;
Found myself swiftly down in the valley,
Slung over his shoulder sack he did carry.
He was bigger than I thought he would be,
With red rosy cheeks appearing before me;
A coating of dust covered his black boots,
Coal speckled white beard and his red suit.
Gazing into his eyes I'm sure he spoke to me,
saying: “why are you up at this hour of three?”
Not by word of mouth, but in my imagination,
My mind heard those words like an inovation.
There's no doubt I believed in what I'd viewed,
Because anything is possible was my attitued...
Rubbing my eyes to see if possibly I was wrong,
I opened them – and in that moment he was gone.
Now I'm tired and listless on this magical night,
The ambience of the season sparkling delight;
I fell asleep in my bed with energies unfolding,
Closed eyes contemplating Christmas is coming.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
TO ALL AT ABC TALES,
AND GOOD HEALTH
AND HAPPINESS IN
THE NEW YEAR.

Walking in the air
Nice Jenny!
Reading this I imagined you starring in the Snowman video.
I hope you have a great time walking in the air and floating in the moonlit sky.
