Little golden Dormouse, gently huddled;
curled up, like the world’s most warmest cuddle;
comfortably tucked in beds you weave
from honeysuckle bark and grass and leaves.
I’ve not seen a more contented creature.
It makes me warm inside to contemplate your
peaceful and, seemingly, blissful features
as you dream in the womb of mother nature.
