The Fool's Gold

One day, a fool was burying a bag of gold.

He dug a very big and deep hole in the ground with a shovel.

But when he turned around to pick up the bag of gold it had disappeared.

He looked all around but couldn't see the bag of gold anywhere.

What had happened to the fools gold? Had it been stolen?

Answer: As the fool had been digging the hole, he had emptied the soil ontop of the bag of gold and so, because the bag was covered by a mound of soil, when he turned around, he couldn't see it anymore.
