but daylight never breaks,
it only can repair;
repair my shattered heart
with golden bandages of beams;
repair me with a tender smile
from its blue uniformed sky;
recharge me with its solar power;
revive my spirits; give me hope;
restore the song inside me
with the greetings of its birds.
The day is my salvation.
Its light relights me every day.

A bright, cheery take on a ritualistic morning. I like the line, "but daylight never breaks". I know that some scientists posit that daylight triggers a chemical reaction that puts our bodies into an alert, wake mode. Enjoyed your poem.
