Words and melodies live on and on ,

handed down through the generations

is someone’s favourite song ,

some like to listen, others  sing along ,

love is in the lyrics and life is the  song .

Songs and songwriters

are one of a kind ,

like an endless echo trying to find ,

a message form the heart to a  friend or lover

or a way to inspire  peace with each other .

Some songs are like magic

the way that they come ,

inspired in an instant

and shared by everyone ,

in many tribes by many tongues,

Its the music of life,

echoing  emotions ,

ever since time begun .

I remember the good times

with a smile in a song

and even some sadness for   people who are gone

but I’ll sing of the gladness and knowing happiness

in sharing all the songs that we love the best

Songs and songwriters are one of a kind ,
