My Child

As I lay by your side
as you gently sleep
with a lullaby
no worries of the world
you see through child
eyes
when you sleep don't
weep
think of castles and
kings
think of dragon and
silly things
as you sleep its a
wonderfully sight
with the curtain close
to keep out the day light
we are in our world
tonight
there magic in this
room a special time
it's like time has stop
hear the tickingof the
clocks
dream of castle and
kings
fighting dragon and
silly things
friendly monster that
don't make you cry
little funny people by
your side
my child sleep peaceful
tonight
and I see you in the
morning light
as I kiss you goodnight
may god bless tonight

How lovely to make a safe
How lovely to make a safe world for a child, where when night falls they can dream of wonderful things. This is magical.

beautifully naive
Madiba (Nelson Mandela) believed the innate goodness of man, he believed that no child is born evil. He was known to love children all, as his own.
He was indeed a great man.
I love your work Maggie, so innocent and pure, sincere & Nolan
