Whatever the weather …

Whether the weather suit you,
or whether the weather suit me,
whatever the weather
we’ll weather the weather
together …
some blether and blather,
discuss, even fuss –
will tomorrow
be windy or wild?
misty or mild?
warm or storm,
sweat, or shiver,
shorts or jumper …?
desires and dreams
but we’re spared the extremes
and provided with rain
for the grain.
[IP: weather]

Wonderful rhyme and rhythm in
Wonderful rhyme and rhythm in your poem Rhiannon. Am wondering whether the News holds back saying there will be hosepipe bans for as long as they can, knowing the minute they say water levels are terribly low it will rain every day for weeks and we will all be grumbling about that instead :0)

Some deft word play on display here, Rhiannon. Definitely immaculate rhyme and rhythm. Almost musical.
A poem executed with great skill.
