I Believe In Frogs

            I was, I hesitate to say, downhearted.

            Watching with dismay while justice rots.

            Goons steering us upon a route uncharted.

            Behind their masks there’s no constructive thought.

            Then the place was filled with froggy masses,

            pouring in and leaping to the fore.

            They waved around and shook their greenish asses.

            I won’t discount froggies anymore.

           

            I believe in frogs.

            In the sunshine.

            I believe in frogs.

            Always on my mind.

            In their froggy togs.

            ‘gainst the skyline.

            I believe in frogs.

 

            Where the troops are sent to cities with no reason,

            it looks like a snap assembly.

            Where losers think it’s people-hunting season

            and they mask their face and their humanity.

            But there’s Cookie Monster, watching,

            his fur a little crumby.

            There’s Baby Trump, a-flying!

            He just spat the dummy.

            A koala’s joined our cause,

            a protest sign held in his paws.

            Here’s Godzilla! To applause.

            And a host of others, there because

 

            They believe in frogs!

            In the warm breeze.

            with their tilted knees.

            Who correlate with logs.

            Lily flower.

            The Republican National Committee is issuing a warning. Antifa is everywhere! However, their profile can be easily distinguished by those familiar with Jurassic Park. Antifa members are seven feet tall, with a puffy demeanor. They have a long rubber snout, flexible teeth on display, and short little arms. Stay on the lookout!
