Texture and shades;
proportioned to please:
pleasure to all
in bud and full bloom,
and beauty in wilting
as its glory fades.

Poem of beautiful words
Poem of beautiful words Rhiannon. I love roses and they always remind me of my late mum who adored roses.
I can almost smell the fragrance of the ones in your photos, Lovely.

A very economical poem
A very economical poem Rhiannon which is powerful because of it, a little gem. How wonderful it is to have known the rose. God obviously wanted to 'please' us !!!

Once I saw a rose
Once I saw a rose
Once I saw a rose of absolutely stunning beauty Rhiannon, I found it in my room the night before my grand-dad (oupa) passed on, in a glass, I don't know how it got there, and as in your poem the next night it was faded and it wilted.
t literally was breath taking. The rose must have come from his rose garden, his pride and joy I didn't then know he loved roses so.
Much Love x Tom

On the threshold
The wonderful rose gave me hope for a another man, for another life. I was a dweller on the threshold.
The night I was taken by force to a place I did not want to go, five tackle one that kind of thing. Where I was given an injection and locked up for a few days in a tiny cell and had to drink pills and given electric shock treatment.
While she walks, on the solid ground …
Although I do admit, they probably did not have much of a choice I don't blame them.
Tom Brown
I was sleeping on a pallet on the ground, in the palace of our Lord.
