a worrying, but realistic prospect. Things are not helped by Clinton's "deplorables" comment, which sums up the American Blue Collar Worker's beliefs about what the UMC/political class think about them. I'm sure many working class voters will vote Trump just to lift the middle finger at them... Thanks for reading, and thanks to the editors for the the cherries and the POD.

interesting, I wonder when the Mexicans build the fabled wall whether it will wind around Texas and California which was stolen from them and they once owned. Perhaps they can then tax companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon and Apple then they can employ master builders.

be no wall, Jack. It's an empty promise, as most political promises are. The wall has as much substance as the the 350,000,000 pounds which has yet to flood into NHS coffers and never will...

Never mind the illegality of hindering a river. Then there's that pesky old gulf. He is simply blinded by his own Uuge need for power. If elected his head will explode from all that egomania.

is, of course, that he doesn't win. I cannot honestly say I am impressed with Hillary. Truly, for the American plebiscite it IS the lesser of two evils. At least Clinton is a seasoned political operator: however, that is what every vote for Trump is a vote against.

I think he's going to win, or rather, I think Clinton's going to lose.  I've just been re-reading 'The Man In The High Castle', so I'm comforted by the fact that this may just be alternate history and somewhere there is hope.

You know, maybe there's a book in that: that we're all living in some alternate history...

I loved The Man in the High Castle when I first read it many years ago. I confess to being a little disappointed with the TV version.
