Hear! Hear! It was moving though, brought a tear to my eye at least!...let's hope those same people who were clapping and banging last night will remember such things at the ballot box! x

I do think it was worthwhile doing, because I know that some health workers found it heartening.  It did stick in my gullet to see Johnson applauding outside No 10.  As you say, not much use to anyone though if it doesn't translate into better pay and conditions.

I always put something that appears on the front 'Read' page, this time it was 'I clapped too'. Yep, we have to put our money where our mouth is in the form of higher taxes, let's do that.
