Weeding

Did I plant this, if not, what a gift
Of wind, or a stowaway passenger,
Inadvertent baggage on feathered
Archives of worldwide dust storms.
Who? Those grazers on shy buffet,
Seeded for angels in transit
Leave a small trace of benign humour
Amongst seasonal wilt of infrastructure.
What brazen colours might blaze yet
Amongst pastel drifts and withered shrub.
